
Aimee Duffy is the Business Administrator at SmartIR, where she supports the company’s day-to-day operations, helping coordinate internal processes across finance, logistics, and project delivery. With a strong background in supply chain planning, merchandising, and team coordination, Aimee plays a key role in maintaining SmartIR’s operational efficiency as the company scales its advanced thermal technologies for space and defence applications.
Prior to joining SmartIR, Aimee served as a New Product Development Planning Manager at The Hut Group (THG), overseeing the supply chain for nutrition brands such as MyProtein, MyVitamins, and MyVegan. In this role, she was responsible for managing raw materials and packaging logistics across global warehouses, coordinating product launches, and mitigating risks related to stock expiry and replenishment.
Earlier in her career, Aimee worked as an Assistant Merchandiser at Fanatics International, where she managed stock flow and supported launches for major sportswear brands including Adidas and Puma, in collaboration with top football clubs like Manchester United and Real Madrid. She was also involved in trade performance analysis, supplier communication, and leading junior team members.
Aimee holds a BA in Accounting and Economics from the University of Manchester and a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics from Manchester Metropolitan University. Her diverse background—from corporate supply chain roles to education—demonstrates her adaptability, attention to detail, and commitment to supporting high-performing teams.
